Scottish from grain to glass

Born Brewery was founded in 2011 by owner John Henderson out of a need to diversify a family farm in the Scottish Borders. The rich alluvial soils of the farm produced the most incredible malting barley, and John wondered if he could add value to that barley by turning it into beer on site. That initial idea spawned the plough-to-pint ethos that still drives the brewery today, as well as its intense focus on provenance and raw ingredients.

The brewery has won numerous awards at both a national and regional Scottish level, and continues to fly the flag for pure Scottish beer.
